Ball Horticultural Company Corporate Campus Landscape Wins Conservation Award
Congratulations to Ball Horticultural Company, which has been recognized with a Conservation and Native Landscaping Award from the US Environmental Protection Agency and Chicago Wilderness for its corporate campus landscape.
In describing the project, Chicago Wilderness cites that “Visitors from around the world and nearby community … have the opportunity to see firsthand the principles, value, and aesthetics of conservation designed landscapes in a typical suburban commercial setting.”
Adds Melinda Pruett-Jones, executive director of Chicago Wilderness: “These projects are terrific examples of what conservation organizations, corporate partners, community groups and others can do to advance biodiversity recovery in the Chicago Wilderness region.”
