Willow Creek Elementary School, Woodridge, IL

Woodridge School District 68 serves approximately 2,400 elementary and middle school students in south-central DuPage County. Willow Creek is one of the district's schools.

• Work closely with Woodridge School District personnel and teachers at Willow Creek to design and implement green infrastructure strategies and outdoor learning opportunities

• Replaced nearly 3/4-acre of asphalt and concrete with permeable pavers
• Resolved flooding and sidewalk frost-heave problems around the school
• Aquired stormwater grant from DuPage County for $84,000 and from IEPA for $462,500
• Created a reading garden and an outdoor learning space for curriculum enhancement
